Join the Honors Program, Sustainability Club, and Botany Club for an exciting Earth Day event where we will be celebrating the planet and taking action to protect it. From 10:30-11:30 AM in DW 1001, we will have a brief presentation about the benefits of native plants from Dr. Andrew Schnabel, South Bend City Horticulturalist Mary Wojcik, and several honors students. Immediately following the presentation, we will be planting native herbaceous plants and removing invasive species from the hillside in Veterans’ Memorial Park to promote a healthy ecosystem. This is a great opportunity to get outdoors, connect with nature, and contribute to a positive cause. We want to make sure that all of our hard-working volunteers stay hydrated and fueled up throughout the day, so we will be providing water and granola bars to all participants. Let’s work together to make a difference in our community and protect the planet we call home. RSVP here: https://titanatlas.iusb.edu/event/9013296. Questions?
