Before you VOTE in the May 22, 2023 primary election, be SURE to check your registration status and polling place and see who’s on your ballot by visiting Vote411.org.
Thanks to a partnership between the American Democracy Project of IU South Bend and the local League of Women Voters, St. Joseph County voters can learn more about the candidates running for city and town offices. Compare the candidates side-by-side by reading candidates’ responses to our candidate questionnaire. All responses appear exactly as the candidate entered them into the guide! No editing. No proofreading. No abridging. No commentary.
Does your community not have a Vote411 guide? Contact your local League and encourage them to participate. If they are within our service region, they can even request assistance from the ADP@IUSB! Did candidates on your ballot not respond to the guide? Contact the candidates and ask them to respond. While your at it, thank the South Bend Tribune for featuring candidates’ Vote411 responses in a series of stories leading up to Election Day.
