Stress of the job getting to you? Try guided meditation with Ryan Weber in the library on the first Wednesday of every month.
Studies on meditation have shown it to have positive impacts on reducing overall stress, anxiety, chronic pain, depression, heart disease, and high blood pressure, while also improving focus, promoting emotional health, self-awareness, and your overall mood throughout the day.
Meditation is a skill that strengthens like a muscle, and there are many ways to meditate effectively at different levels of expertise. With that in mind, Ryan will be doing beginner-type meditations that anyone will be able to do. This activity should take no longer than 30 or 40 minutes.
Mark your calendars to meditate with Ryan:
Wednesday, July 6th at 10am (Library’s 5th floor atrium)
Wednesday, August 3rd at 10am (Library’s 5th floor atrium)
