UCET Leadership Transition–Want to work for UCET?

Carolyn Schult will be stepping down as UCET Director at the end of the 2022-23 academic year, so UCET needs to line up a new Director. Full disclosure: Current Assistant Director Jay VanderVeen will be applying for the Director position. If anyone else wants to apply, we will run a full search for a new Director in September, 2022. If no other applicants come forward, Jay will be appointed Director and UCET will run a search this fall for a new Assistant Director to start in Summer 2023. If you would like to apply for the Director position, please email Carolyn cschult@iusb.edu by June 27, 2022 to indicate your interest. If no one responds by that date, we will close the Director search and start the Assistant Director search.

Both the Director and Assistant Director positions are half-time (50%, or two course releases per semester) with substantial summer responsibilities. If desired, there can be a one-course release in Spring 2023 to shadow the current position holder and ensure a smooth transition.
