POLS-Y481: FIELD EXPERIENCE IN POLITICAL SCIENCE: AMERICAN DEMOCRACY PROJECT PRACTICUM 15936 (TU 5:30 PM – 8:00 PM, Dr. Bennion)
Plan, publicize, and host a variety of candidate debates, public forums, and other educational opportunities designed to prepare local citizens to participate actively in the 2022 midterm election and to make a difference in their communities. Learn about national efforts to engage student voters, review the literature on how to mobilize students and non-student voters, participate in important conversations about contemporary political controversies, and help create an action plan and voter education materials for our campus and community leading up to the May primary and November 2022 midterm elections.
