Join the Civil Rights Heritage Center as we host a viewing party for Common Justice’s “Solutions to Violence” panel discussion.
“Solutions to Violence” is a national report that profiles 17 different organizations and practitioners who are creating responses to violence without relying on policing.
To celebrate the launch of the report, Common Justice is hosting a virtual panel hosted by lawyer and writer Josie Duffy Rice.
This viewing party is a chance for South Bend to merge lessons learned from the panel into our community’s work.
Featured panelists are Danielle Sered from Common Justice, Larell Smith Bacon from Restorative Responses Baltimore, Travis Claybrooks from the Raphah Institute, Dr. Dorothy Johnson-Speight, and Stefanie Lyn Kaufman-Mthimkhulu from Project LETS.
This free event is in-person only. Vaccinated and unvaccinated guests are asked to wear a mask over their mouth and nose in order to attend.
