Spring 2021 UCET Teaching with Technology Grant Applications Now Being Accepted. The spring 2021 call for proposals for the UCET Teaching with Technology Grant (formerly SEED Grant) is now open through Mon, Mar. 15, 2021. Do you have your eye on a piece of technology or software that you would like to use in an upcoming course that costs up to $1,200? Consider submitting a UCET Teaching with Technology Grant proposal. Additional information and an application form may be found at the UCET website. Submit the application to ucet@iusb.edu.
Quality Matters @ IU Workshop: Would you like to improve your course design, take the first step towards becoming a QM Peer Reviewer or have your online course QM Certified? This workshop will get you started. The workshop split into two sessions and you must attend both in order to receive the QM certificate of completion. Tues, Mar. 16 Part 1: We will cover different educational and non-educational technologies that can used for research, presentations and papers. In the workshop, there will be a focus on how to incorporate these technologies to help reach your learning objectives. Led by Chanika Mitchell.
Thurs, Mar. 18 Part II: We will discuss specific technologies how they are utilized to reach specific learning objectives. Also there is a focus on technologies that may not be traditionally be used in research-based courses but that are free of cost for students after they graduate for IUSB. Led by Chanika Mitchell.
