Dr. Merhi investigates information systems security (ISS) compliance in organizations with the focus on workers’ response to the ISS policies implemented.
“Employees’ compliance (or non-compliance) with ISS policies has rightly been a topic of significant interest in Information Systems (IS) research because of the harm that employees’ behavior can cause to organizational data and IS,” he said. “I look into a related but different dimensions that are significantly pertinent to achieving expected levels of ISS in organizations.”
Dr. Merhi has also worked as a systems analyst and assistant manager in the IT industry.
