Zoom Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues in your Zoom meetings or classes, such as inability to record your sessions or no control over breakout rooms, try the following hints:
Open and login to your Zoom desktop client (the blue icon with a white camera) using SSO before you start your Zoom session. To install the Desktop client, visit the Zoom Download center here.
Update your Zoom desktop client by opening it and clicking on the top right next to the search bar. Then click Check for Updates in the menu that appears.
One way to tell if you’re logged into Zoom is by the display name: if you see your first and last name you are logged in, if it displays your IU email check to see if you need to login.
