UCET Spring Active Learning Institute – Creativity in Your Course. Creativity is strong element in the arts, but it can also apply to all other disciplines. As teachers, we actively participate in the creative process whenever we develop a new course, a new assignment, or engage with students in a new online environment. In fashioning experiences using our own inventiveness, we guide students to become creative and reflective thinkers. Join Jay VanderVeen for a series of workshops that will facilitate the creativity that can be added to your own classes. Quality Matters @ IU Workshop. Would you like to improve your course design, take the first step towards becoming a QM Peer Reviewer or have your online course QM Certified? This workshop will get you started. The workshop split into two sessions and you must attend both in order to receive the QM certificate of completion. If you will be submitting a dossier for promotion to Senior Lecturer, Teaching Professor, Associate Professor, Full Professor, Clinical Senior Lecturer, or Clinical Associate Professor in Aug  2021, you are invited to join a sponsored group that can help you put together a dossier that presents your case in the best light possible. If you are interested in participating or have questions, please contact Elaine Roth, UCET Career Mentor, elaroth@iusb.edu.  Candidates will be encouraged to post materials a week in advance of the Zoom session.
