UCET Spring Active Learning Institute – Creativity in Your Course. Creativity is strong element in the arts, but it can also apply to all other disciplines. As teachers, we actively participate in the creative process whenever we develop a new course, a new assignment, or engage with students in a new online environment. In fashioning experiences using our own inventiveness, we guide students to become creative and reflective thinkers. Join Jay VanderVeen for a series of workshops that will facilitate the creativity that can be added to your own classes. Guest speakers from our faculty will provide examples and helpful tips for implementation. Mark your calendar for sessions on the following Fridays: Feb. 12, Feb. 26, Mar. 12, Mar. 19, and Apr. 23 from 9-11:30am. To register email ucet@iusb.edu.
Save the Date! The 2021 Midwest SoTL Conference will be virtual. Mark your calendars for April 9 from 9 – 1 pm.
