ONLINE PRESENCE DOUBLE FEATURE WORKSHOP

WHAT: Doubly develop your public online presence with this IUSB CERES workshop. Participants will be trained in use of both Twitter and the IU Experts Database. In order to accommodate fluid online scheduling, this workshop will repeat on a Wednesday and Thursday over lunch.

  • Twitter – Find information! Learn to use Twitter as a human-curated information feed for all your professional interests. We will discuss best practices for profile management, desktop / mobile uses, reading strategies, and finding your people.
  • IU Experts Database – Be found! Learn how to develop your Indiana University Experts Database profile so IU can help the press and public recognize and learn from you. We will discuss best practices for keyword choices and biographical sketches.

WHEN: The workshop will repeat, on consecutive days, to accommodate fluid online scheduling. Attend the day you are able, as you are able, and we will work with you.

  • Wednesday 28 October from 11:00am to 1:00pm
  • AND Thursday 29 October from 11:00am to 1:00pm
