Are you ready for Spring Enrollment?
Remember only classes that count toward your degree are eligible for financial aid.
Now is the time to make sure there are no surprises when it comes to enrolling for the spring semester. Make sure you:
- Check your financial aid To Do list
(via your One account in the Student Center)
- Check your Bursar account
(Do you have a balance due? If so, you may not be able to register for spring 2021 classes).
- Check for other holds on your account (right side of your Student Center).
- Schedule a time to meet with your academic advisor
- Be aware of Open Enrollment Dates. You can find this information in your Student Center (lower right side of the page)
State Grant Recipients:
Are you on track to renew your state grant?
21st Century Scholars – Must complete 30 credit hours per academic year.
O’Bannon Recipients – Must complete 24 credit hours per academic year.
Students who receive State Grant funds in fall 2020 and spring 2021 will have used their annual allotment. Students who need additional credits in the summer to remain eligible may have to pay for them on their own.
Online Scholarship Application (OSA)
IUSB’s OSA is open for the 2021-2022 school year. Applications are due March 1, 2021. This application allows you to be considered for over 200 scholarships from the IU Foundation, Alumni Association and IUSB academic departments. Access the OSA via the scholarship tile on your One.IU portal. After you submit the OSA application, log back in to review any additional scholarship opportunities you can “apply” to by providing supplemental documentation.
Watch your IU email for additional scholarship opportunities/requirements.
Check our scholarship webpage often for information on local and national scholarship opportunities. Scholarships.iusb.edu
3rd Party Access
3rd Party Access allows you to designate who can discuss/view your college record, which may include your Financial Aid, Bursar records and class schedule. You may access the form by searching “Set Up 3rd Party Users” in your One.IU account (see the Gateway for assistance).
