The Purdue University Virtual Visitation Program is an opportunity that includes a waiver of the application fee for prospective students interested in applying to PhD programs. On September 22, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm (EST), the Purdue Office of Graduate Admissions will host a virtual Discover Purdue event via Zoom, which includes a “Preparing for Graduate School” information session and other events.
The program requires students to be nominated by specific departmental PhD programs. The Borch Department of Medicinal Chemistry and Molecular Pharmacology at Purdue University seeks to nominate students with research interests in drug discovery, particularly in the areas of molecular pharmacology and medicinal chemistry. Please forward to students who may be interested in this event.
Students interested in our PhD program can request a nomination via a simple Qualtrics form. Deadline for completing the nomination request is August 26.

Did you do well in BIOL-L 112? Seeking Undergrad Teaching Assistants for BIOL-Q 201 for Fall 2025
Prof. Pamela Hanratty is seeking enthusiastic UTIN candidates to help teach BIOL-Q 201 (Biology for Elementary Education Majors) during the FALL 2025 semester. BIOL-Q 201 is an introductory-level, combination lecture and lab course for future elementary teachers. This course is taught IN PERSON.
Successful candidates should be available to teach co-teach a lab section meeting IN PERSON on TUESDAYS from 6:45-9:45pm for the entire Fall 2025 semester. You MUST be available at this specific time. If you are interested in teaching this EVENING lab section, you CANNOT have evening exams that conflict with the Tuesday evening lab time. You should also have earned at least an A- in BIOL-L 112 and have an overall GPA of at least 3.25.
