Indiana Going Green Festival, March 15 and 16
CEES staff Robert Lugg, Elizabeth Johnson, and Austin Taylor, and GK-12 fellow Jess Adamic spent this past weekend working together with Indiana State Museum Going Green Festival attendees to understand how water, sediment, and pollution moves through our watersheds!
Englewood CDC is partnering with CEES to start a community garden

Pleasant Run Plantings
We anticipate that live stakes will arrive on March 18. The contractor is going to use the live stakes to replace some plantings that did not survive last year’s drought, and to increase bank stability in some stream reaches.
Ohio River Basin Alliance Conference Postponed
We are sorry to report that the Ohio River Basin Alliance Conference has been postponed. Federal agencies are under strict travel restrictions as a result of the Sequester and are unable to attend the conference in March. The Alliance is tentatively rescheduling the conference for August 2013. We will post updates as we receive them.
