So far I have to say the vast majority of my internship is going very well. My mentor has worked with me on several occasions to make sure that I have a good understanding of the of the overall big picture of her research. She want to make sure I know how her research fits in with other aspects of regenerative and rehabilitative medicine, and due to this, I have gained a much better understanding of how the overall process of research works and how her’s fits within her field. When it comes to what isn’t going so well, there really isn’t much. I suppose the biggest issue is just finding the time to make sure I can go in when I am needed. Coordinating schedules can be a pain sometimes.
