There are 50 million worldwide who suffer from the chronic neurological disease condition named epilepsy. In the United States alone, there are 3 million people who have been diagnosed with this condition, yet there is a low level of awareness about their struggles. This misunderstanding has continued for decades as People with Epilepsy have to quietly deal with issues such as lack of coordination, stigma management, and effective quality care. On top of all of that, the general public’s misconception has constructed an environment of social isolation, improper care(especially in emergency situations), and general communication barriers. Achieving the goal of properly educating the majority of the population could increase social
support for PWE resulting in: improved emergency treatment for seizures, decreased stigma, injury prevention, increased experience giving care of someone with physical and emotional
experiences, and preventing death. In order to address these problems, our research group has attempted to create an implementation of Information Communication Technologies(ICTs) in ReactJS(a mobile development framework) that could address some of these issues.
