Loogootee High Schools 2 CS classes have some Arduino Nano’s and they asked me to come help with them. We met in their new (this year) FabLab to work with Nano’s and some accessories (LED, servo, neopixel strips, buttons…). There are 3 levels of CS in each set of students. I had to brush up on my Arduino, since I have not used them in over a decade. I came up with these ideas. We needed to introduce breadboards because we wanted to have 3 LEDS (a stop light) and the Nano board only has 2 GND pins. We spent 2 class periods, and they did a third without me because we had not quite finished neopixels. They did a combo program that had neopixels and a servo (traffic light at a gate). When they come back from break I think we will get to button input and a buzzer, maybe a potentiometer (if I can find my box of pots).
