I was able to get to 2 conferences.
Ohio Educational Technology Conference (OETC) was more for learning and a little networking. Attendance was down this year. IN the past it had been 4000, then 2000. I think it was less than 2000 this year. I hit up many of the AI sessions and some Makerspace ones. Gotta see what everyone else is doing and get some resources that I dont know about yet. Obviously I checked out the vendor hall also, spending the most time with the Canon/B&H Photo Video people talking poster printer (24″ on order). I also met up with Mike from Nurc’s (craft stick connectors). This might have been his first OETC.

HASTI (Hoosier Association of Science Teachers) was networking, as I had a booth. About 150 educators attended, but not that many came through the vendor booths. So I did more networking with the education person at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. They have been renovating and are re-opening soon with more interactive things for families. I also talked with the Indianapolis Zoo about going there and doing some maker sessions. I also talked more with the Indiana State Museum (they have Tinkerfest each year).
