Congratulations to Sohile Ali, one of the 2020 Mueller Award recipients.
Sohile is receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing and Engineering in Intelligent Systems Engineering with a minor in Media and Creative Advertising. His passion for marketing and media is evident throughout his different involvements both on and off campus. On campus, he served on the 110th Union Board of Directors as the Vice President of Marketing and served as a multimedia intern for the Office of the Provost and Executive Vice President. His campus involvement also involved serving as a Resident Assistant and Vice President of the INgineering Club. Sohile also pursued media in his internship experiences serving as a Production Interns on the Daily Show with Trevor Noah summer 2019.
When asked who he would like to thank for supporting him and encouraging him during his journey here at Indiana University, he said, “I want to thank all of the incredible student and professional leaders on campus I have been fortunate to work with here at IU. It is a great honor to be considered among the students receiving this award, some of which I have had the great pleasure of working with directly. I would like to thank my parents, Shamim and Wade, for always being there for me and for encouraging and supporting me every step of the way.”
