Brain Awareness Week is a global campaign that promotes support for brain science and is recognized every year in March. Partners and educators are encouraged to host imaginative activities in their communities to educate about the brain and the impact that brain science has in our every day lives. This year, Brain Awareness Week was March 13 – 19. The Dean of the School of Social Sciences and Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience, Dr. Meghan Kahn, visited Grant Line Elementary and Mt. Tabor Elementary schools to educate children on the wonder of the brain and brain science. The students had fun learning about the human brain while participating in creative and interactive activities.
