IU Southeast Professor of Mathematics Education, Dr. Alan Zollman, will present the keynote address at the Illinois Council of Teachers of Mathematics (ICTM) conference on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at John A. Logan College in Carterville, Illinois. Dr. Zollman will present “Fixing the Most Common Myths of Learning Mathematics” Six research-based ideas how students best learn — with three persistence concepts, with a dash of humor, all in one run-on sentence. In addition to the ICTM conference, Dr. Zollman will present the keynote address to the Illinois Mathematics Association of Community Colleges in Monticello, Illinois on April 1, 2023. Information and registration.
