The IUSSW will follow individual campus guidelines for class schedules in Summer 2021. This means that some campuses will have some in-person classes (with required masks and physical distancing) while others will continue with all online classes. These decisions depended on availability of large classrooms on each campus to accommodate student numbers with physical distancing requirements. Classes are labeled correctly in the university systems, and all online versus on-campus classes are labeled as such, so students will see the correct method of instruction for each class when looking at course schedules or enrolling in Summer 2021 classes. If students have difficulty with available Summer 2021 scheduling options, they should contact their academic advisor for assistance.
IUSSW offices will continue to operate with minimal office coverage over the summer due to physical distancing requirements and the need to minimize in-person interactions. It is recommended that you contact specific employees ahead of time if you need to schedule an appointment, to ensure they will be available to meet with you.
We look forward to returning to normal operations in Fall 2021, pending university, campus, and CDC guidelines at that time.
