Indiana University Purdue University at Indianapolis (IUPUI) has announced a new vision for the Indianapolis campus beginning in 2024. The IU Board of Trustees and the executive committee of Purdue’s Board of Trustees have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that the two universities on the IUPUI Campus will each govern their own academic programs for the purpose of expanding programming, increasing job-ready graduates, and enhancing economic growth regionally and within the State of Indiana. With today’s announcement for the IUPUI Campus, we want to share that our focus at the IU School of Social Work remains unchanged. As a top-tier School of Social Work, we will continue to provide quality, accessible, and affordable educational opportunities to our students, and we are committed to preparing graduates for practice and research in an increasingly diverse world.
