2024 Harvest Homecoming Parade Winners
The 2024 Harvest Homecoming theme, “Autumn Sock-Hop” was kicked off with the annual parade on Saturday, October 5 featuring floats with the sock-hop theme. High school students from southern Indiana and Louisville attended the IU Southeast Media Day on October 25. The event was filled with a morning of guest speakers, workshops, and awards. The keynote speaker at this year’s event was Angie Fenton, owner/publisher of Extol magazine.

The 2024 Thanksgiving break dates are November 27, 28, 29, and 30. Open enrollment for the 2025 spring semester begins on November 8. The 2024 fall semester final exam dates are December 16, 17, 18, 19, and 20. The 2025 spring semester begins on Monday, January 13, 2025.

On October 9, the Horizon Media welcomed five high school students and their career coaches to sit in on the Horizon’s live podcast.
