The second annual IU Southeast Open Studios event on January31 was held as part of the School of Arts and Letters initiative to continue to engage in strategic partnerships and encourage student success through the creative expression of ideas, emotions, and aesthetics.
Over 200 people were in attendance at the event. Twenty-two graduating BFA and 2 senior Art Education students presented their artworks in their designated studio spaces in Knobview Hall. The 2 Art Education majors presented in the Space Lab. Eight junior level BFA students supported event activities, but didn’t have studio space at the event.
