We asked our student ambassadors to share something memorable that happened since their return to campus.

I want to share one of the best resources that IUPUI has to offer: The Math Assistance Center. I have recently been utilizing this program since I am taking Finite Math. Mathematics can be incredibly challenging for some, myself included. However, the MAC is a safe space for students to get the help the need!
It feels scary admitting that you need extra assistance with a course, but the individuals at the MAC offer a no-pressure environment with really helpful tips. Even if you don’t need help and need a place to do your math-based homework, go to the MAC! The MAC is located in the basement of Taylor Hall and can be accessed online via Zoom tutoring as well.

For the start of the semester, I’ve been connecting back to the school community. I attended the Undergraduate Student Association for Fairbanks first meeting of the year. This was a callout meeting that introduced the new board and got to meet new members. It was great hearing about everyone’s plan for the semester and their future goals.
I would recommend attending their next meeting, which is a panel of women discussing what it’s like to be a woman in healthcare.

We are halfway through the third week of classes at IUPUI and I can already tell it is going to be a busy, but fun semester! As a student-athlete, I was excited to return to school and support my fellow Jags that are in season right now. I am so excited to be back together as an athletic department. Some of my favorite college memories have been made at IUPUI athletic events!
It has been a lot of fun being able to see our men’s soccer team and volleyball team pull out wins at home already this season. Games are free for IUPUI students and one of our themes this year as an athletic department is ‘Jags supporting Jags’!
Our women’s soccer team played at home (Michael Caroll Stadium) on Thursday, and on Sunday at 4 p.m.! Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather while we still have it.
