Undergraduate Education is the new home for the Herbert Presidential Scholars Program, the Hudson and Holland Scholars Program, the Academic Support Center, and Community & School Partnerships.
- The Herbert Presidential Scholars Program gives top-achieving high school graduates in Indiana a head start on reaching their college goals with a four-year renewable scholarship to attend IU Bloomington, IU Indianapolis, or any regional campus. Funded by the Lilly Endowment, Inc., the program welcomes a minimum of 30 incoming Indiana University freshmen every year.
Please welcome director Shakoor Karim to UE.
- The Hudson and Holland Scholars Program is a scholarship and support program for high-achieving students from underrepresented communities. HHSP is the largest merit-based scholarship program at IU, with 2,400 enrolled students. Over 14 million in scholarships was awarded to Hudson and Holland Scholars in 2023.

- The Academic Support Center provides free math and writing tutoring, spaces for learning, technology, peer coaching, workshops, and more in the evenings—in easily accessible and convenient locations such as cultural centers, campus residence halls, and the Office of Student Life academic units.
Please welcome director Leslie Robinson.
- The Community & School Partnerships program creates educational and career pathways for K-8 and select 9-12 students. CSP leverages all Indiana University resources, faculty, staff, and students by sharing knowledge and providing opportunities during campus visits and through sponsorship of summer camps, the use of a Maker Space Mobile, and community outreach programs in off-campus events.
Please welcome program management specialist Rebecca Brahaum.
Let’s give everyone a warm welcome as we all contribute to our mission of ensuring that every undergraduate student can access meaningful learning opportunities that prepare them for tomorrow.
