OVPUE’s employee in the spotlight this month is Judith (Judy) Ouimet. She is a Senior Assistant Vice Provost for The Office of Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education.

What is your name and what do you do; how long have you worked here in OVPUE?
Judith (Judy) Ouimet—my friends call me Jude. I’ve been here since March 2009.

If you could learn to do anything, what would it be?

What challenging thing has happened (to) for you, and what did you gain from it?
There have been many challenges in my life and what I have learned is to stay positive and be patient. I live by “things happen for a reason” and sometimes that reason is not apparent for a long time.
How do you define success?
If I can make a positive difference in someone’s life that is success to me.
