The beaches in Cape Coast, Ghana, are picture-perfect, as exemplified in the photo above. The crazy thing is that in this country many believe that the environment is very important and should be protected. Compared to many beaches in the United States, these beaches are not gentrified yet which helps preserves the country’s beauty. They follow different customs, like not fishing on Tuesday’s, to give the sea a break. If they were to fish on that day, it would be a taboo. There are some punishments that people say will happen if they do so, but this helps preserve the environment. So many places in Ghana, and Africa as a whole, have so much beauty that they need to be to explored.
