Sixteen faculty members at the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs have been recognized by Indiana University for their outstanding contributions throughout the 2024–25 academic year, earning awards for excellence in research and teaching.
Venier receives Outstanding Junior Faculty Award
Assistant Professor Marta Venier has been named a 2024–25 recipient of IU’s Outstanding Junior Faculty Award. This award supports promising early-career faculty who have not yet earned tenure, providing resources to help further develop their research or creative activities.
Yoder named Janet Duey Professor of Rural Land Policy
Assistant Professor Landon Yoder has been named the Janet Duey Professor of Rural Land Policy. This endowed professorship honors a scholar whose teaching and research reflect a deep commitment to rural land preservation, including initiatives related to land reclamation, water policy, and rural development.
Six O’Neill faculty members earn Trustees Teaching Award
