Brad Fulton, an associate professor at the Paul H. O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs, has been included on the list of Leading Academic Data Leaders for 2023 by Chief Data Officer Magazine.
The CDO list is a definitive compilation that celebrates exceptional individuals at the forefront of data leadership in higher education. Fulton was honored for his work with the Indiana University Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering’s Data Science in Practice course that is designed to help students experience the complexities and nuances of applying data science in the real world.
“I’m honored to be included on CDO’s list,” Fulton said. “I value developing the next generation of data scientists, and our collaboration with the Luddy School enables the O’Neill School to excel at the intersection of data analytics and policy formation. In particular, working with Luddy students has advanced my efforts to democratize data on charitable activity.”
