Tom Lynch (b. 1950) is a premier watercolor artist, educator, and author. He has written seven books and has been the host of several award-winning PBS Art Series. He is nationally recognized as an arts educator and advocate, and has over 45 years of educational experience.
In his paintings, Lynch attempts to create a level of soft excitement, movement, and resonance. He focuses heavily on finding something “striking:” the color of the sky, the direction of natural light, shadow patterns, or the glint of reflections.
