L.O. Griffith
Louis Oscar Griffith (hereafter L.O.) was a printmaker and impressionist painter with a strong tie to the Hoosier state. Marcel Jacque
Marcel Jacque (French, 1906-1981) worked closely with the Barbizon school of artists, studying under Theodore Rousseau for several years. The Barbizon school was part of a movement towards Realism which was an effort to depict everyday subjects and situations in high detail, as is visible in the etching, La Leçon de Lecture.
