Ricardo “Ric” Tringali (1951-2013) was a designer, artist and illustrator from Algonac, Michigan. He studied at Kendall College of Art and Design and Thomas Jefferson College in Michigan and later relocated to the Bay Area and earned his BFA and MFA from the San Francisco Art Institute.
Tringali continued to prolifically make art and exhibit in the Bay Area, as well as New York City, Chicago, Boston, and innumerable places throughout the world. Tringali always firmly believed that art and philosophy and spirituality were extremely connected and that his artmaking was a way of building upon that relationship while also making the relationship more apparent to viewers.
