Connie Faye Cosby McGath (b. 1953) is an artist active in Nashville, Indiana and her family has resided in Brown County for more than 200 years. McGath was born in Elkinsville and her family relocated to Belmont when she was a mere ten years old. This home was just down the road from the T.C. Steele house, and the self-taught artist McGath often found inspiration in Steele’s work, as well as the work of his peers.
Despite living so close to the T.C. Steele house, McGath began painting in 2011.
