Mark Dillman (b. 1955) is an artist based in Indianapolis and active in the region. He studied portraiture at the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis, under the guise of Edmund Brucker. Beyond the portrait of Dean John Graham, Dillman has been commissioned to create portraits of numerous other individuals including James Dean (for the Indiana Historical Society Collection, presidents, deans, and chancellors at numerous Indiana universities, as well as former governor of Indiana Joseph Kernan.
Dillman has also exhibited competitively throughout the US, and is featured locally as an award winner at the Hoosier Salon, Indiana State Fair, and is a former officer and board member of the Indiana Artists Club.
Dillman maintains and operates a studio on the southside of Indianapolis.
