NCGAS has been super busy this semester, which has been reflected in our limited blog posts!
What have we been doing that’s been keeping us so busy? In part, SCHOOL! Both learning and teaching! Carrie and Bhavya are working on Ph.D.s, Sheri started taking Data Science courses, and Tom became an adjunct professor. We also taught four workshops in Fall semester – one of which was for 343 people (our first MOOC)!
So while we may not have been as active on our blog in the last few months, we have really enjoyed working with a lot of you in courses and collaborations ^_^.
Now that we’ve learned a ton of new things, we’re turning them into new resources for the community – new pipelines, new workshops, new grants, new tools… and a brand new supercomputer coming online in 2020 as well! Stay tuned!
