As you can see it’s a nice little grid and some clean interfaces. I actually found that all the little bindings to the mouse to be super helpful. so the first thing we were to do was to create a pipe. Just a cylinder primitive to give me an idea of how to create something and use the interface. Here’s my like pipe on it’s side as seen below.

Nice huh? Let’s call him Charlie. Well Charlie is a tad too small for me to play with so I clicked on his tail end and then used the right mouse interface pop up to “press pull” it out. I quite liked that I can just put in a size (2 in) and it set it out. Now we finished the tutorial with a much larger size. Good job Charlie!

Ok, let’s make something that we’ll actually use. How about the base of that nameplate I was talking about last post.
