Indiana University Maurer School of Law Professor Hannah L. Buxbaum has been elected to the American Journal of International Law’s Board of Editors.
She will serve a four-year term running through April 2029.
The AJIL is a leading peer-reviewed journal, published quarterly since 1907, that serves as the flagship publication of the American Society of International Law. The journal features articles, essays, editorial comments, current developments, and book reviews by preeminent scholars and practitioners from around the world addressing developments in public and private international law and foreign relations law.
Buxbaum has previously served in a number of leadership roles in the American Society of International Law, including as Vice President. She is a leading scholar of private international law, international jurisdiction, and transnational litigation. She also currently serves as President of the American Society of Comparative Law.
