Dr. Pedi Obani is an Associate Professor in Law at the University of Bradford and a UKRI Future Leaders Fellow for a multi-country “Gender-inclusive climate change governance” study. She is highly experienced in undertaking high-quality policy-oriented research and publications, grants assessments, curriculum development, and mentorship and capacity building in professional and other settings. In 2025, the Institute for African Women in Law (IAWL) recognized her as one of 25 Women Who Inspire in 2025. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria; a town councilor in the UK; and is engaged in community-level sustainability, purposeful parenting, and inclusive development initiatives.
