From the Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities:
“March 2021 marks 31 years of Disability Awareness Month in Indiana, sponsored by the Indiana Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities. Disability Awareness Month is set aside each year as a time to recognize and promote the independence, integration and inclusion of all people with disabilities.
“Due to the ongoing challenges of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, this year’s Disability Awareness Month campaign will be entirely virtual. Instead of using our traditional campaign kit and printed materials, volunteers and participants are encouraged to use our digital campaign materials which can be downloaded from our new Unite2Include.org website.”
