Did you know that LHSI attends many of the campus involvement and career fairs as well as other events on campus? We are there so we can meet with you, get to know you, and answer your questions about the program. These tables and events are staffed by our program staff and ambassadors and we’d love to meet you.
Getting out there in front of employers, recruiters, and professionals is a great way to network your way into opportunities. You’ll have many opportunities to attend campus-wide panels and workshops next week during Fall Career Week. There are nearly 50 career-related events that week, there’s something for everyone!
If you want to stop by and see us specifically, you can find us at these fall events:

Health and Life Science Experience Expo on Tuesday, September 27, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Campus Center 450
The Health and Life Science Experience Expo is an opportunity for pre-health students to explore experiential opportunities available within health-related academic programs, student organizations, and community partners. This is not a career fair. Rather, students will have the opportunity to sculpt their college experience by learning about different majors and careers available within healthcare, and networking with organizations offering volunteer and internship opportunities appropriate for the exploratory stage of a student’s college career. This event is part of IUPUI Fall Career Week. Stop by the LHSI table and say hi!
LHSI Alumni Panel on Tuesday, September 27, from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. in Campus Center 307
This alumni panel will feature past interns from the Life-Health Sciences Internship Program who are now IUPUI alumni from School of Science, Engineering and Technology, Liberal Arts, and Public Health. Learn how their internships shaped their career goals, helped them gain valuable skills, and started them on a path to becoming healthcare professionals. The panelists will also share insights on careers and graduate and professional programs. This event is part of IUPUI Fall Career Week and is co-sponsored by the School of Science PREPs office and the LHSI Alumni Council.
