O’Neill profile
Energy Justice Lab website
I am a Professor at the O’Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, where I hold the Lynton K. Caldwell Professorship. I am also co-director of the Energy Justice Lab, and I have affiliations with the Ostrom Workshop, the Department of Political Science, the Center for Research on Race and Ethnicity in Society, and the Environmental Resilience Institute.
My research focuses on U.S. environmental politics and policy, regulation, federalism, environmental justice, and public opinion. My current projects focus on identifying and addressing race- and income-based disparities in environmental enforcement, equity and justice issues emerging in the U.S. energy transition, and public attitudes toward the environment, energy and climate change.
I am also an Editor at Environmental Politics and a Co-Editor of a new Cambridge University Press Element Series, Organizational Response to Climate Change: Business, Governments, and Nonprofits.
