Introducing Director of Development Natalie Kubat
Please join us in welcoming Natalie Kubat as our new Director of Development! Natalie started in early May 2021, leading Kinsey Institute fundraising efforts and working closely with our partners at the Indiana University Foundation.
Natalie has a long and successful history creating community and fostering the long-term relationships we seek with our donors and supporters, and we’re thrilled to have her join our team.
Retirement of Dr. Virginia Vitzthum
Dr. Virginia J. Vitzthum, Senior Scientist at the Kinsey Institute, Professor of Anthropology, and Director of the Evolutionary Anthropology Laboratory at Indiana University, has retired this summer and transitioned to Professor Emeritus at Indiana University. Dr. Vitzthum has been on the Indiana University faculty and a valued member of the Kinsey Institute research team since 2008.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vitzthum has been passionate about women’s health, and researching questions that can provide the information women need for their emotional and physical wellbeing. (more…)
Call for Proposals: Exhibitionism – Sexuality at the Museum
The Kinsey Institute, the Wilzig Erotic Art Museum, and the Research Center for the Cultural History of Sexuality are hosting “Exhibitionism – Sexuality at the Museum,” a hybrid conference featuring online sessions during the day and evening events at WEAM for attendees in Miami and those who wish to travel to Miami.
The conference will take place on December 9th – 11th, 2021 and aims to bring together researchers, museum practitioners, artists, and educators whose work involves sexuality in museums, collections, and exhibition spaces.
Deadline for submissions: August 15, 2021. Conference registration begins Sept 1. (more…)
