Founded in 1947 by Dr. Alfred C. Kinsey, the Kinsey Institute at Indiana University is celebrating its 75th anniversary in 2022! To honor this legacy and its milestone anniversary, the Kinsey Institute is hosting a year-long celebration that will include campus festivities, a sculpture unveiling, guest speakers, symposiums, art exhibitions, dance performances – and more.

Race, Gender, Sex, and Policing Scholar Joins Research Faculty
We are thrilled to welcome Dr. I. India Thusi to the Kinsey Institute research team! Formerly an associate professor at the Delaware Law School at Widener University, Dr. Thusi will hold a joint faculty appointment at Indiana University as Professor in the Maurer School of Law and Senior Scientist with the Kinsey Institute.
Dr. Thusi’s research examines racial and sexual hierarchies as they relate to policing, race, gender, and sexual behavior. (more…)
