Archival Collection Highlight: The Joanne E. Passet Collection

Today we are highlighting an archival collection at the Kinsey Institute and its donor: Dr. Joanne E. Passet, Professor Emerita of History at Indiana University East. Dr. Passet has spent her career recovering the lost history of lesbian artists, academics, and activists, and celebrating their contributions to American culture and society.

This spring, the Kinsey Institute is partnering with Iceberg Projects in Chicago to present the first exhibition of a rare folio of erotic drawings by English artist Austin Osman Spare titled Psychopathia Sexualis.

Profile: Rose Zinnia, 2021 Kraft-Kinsey Awardee

Rose Zinnia is the 2021 winner of the Kraft-Kinsey Award, which supports a writing project by an Indiana University MFA graduate student that makes substantial use of the Kinsey Institute’s materials and archives. Rose is a poet, writer, and book/graphic designer, and an MFA Candidate in the Creative Writing Program at Indiana University.

Sexologist Erwin Haeberle Donates Digital Archive to Kinsey Institute

The Kinsey Institute at Indiana University is pleased to announce the donation by Dr. Erwin J. Haeberle of his online international Archive of Sexology (sexarchive.info). These online materials will now be available as a research and educational collection through the Kinsey Institute.
