Lesson Locations

Below is a map of the Jacobs School of Music buildings in relation to E 3rd St. and N. Eagleson Ave (formerly N. Jordan Ave). Young Pianists instruction takes place in three primary locations.

Simon West Wing

If your lesson room number starts with “SM-C”, it is in the west wing of the Simon Music Center, 200 S Eagleson Ave (#2 on the map image above). The easiest way to access is to go through the circled entrance in the image below. This is on the west/back side of the building.

Music Addition

If your If your lesson room number starts with “MA”, it is in a round building called the Music Addition (#3 on the map image above). Please note that the Music Addition is an annex connected to Merrill Hall, and it is easy to wander from Merrill to the Music Addition accidentally, or vice versa, so please be sure you are in the correct building!

Merrill Hall

If your lesson room number starts with “MU”, it is in Merrill Hall (#4 on the map image above). We have just a few teaching rooms here. Young Beginners group classes also take place in this building.

Street parking

Free street parking is available after 5pm on weekdays (and all day on weekends) in many of the residential neighborhoods near the Jacobs School of Music buildings, just south of 3rd Street (on streets like S Highland Ave and S Ballantine Rd, which are highlighted in orange below).
