STUDIO RECORDING

Studio recording is a viable career path for students. This ensemble will provide an opportunity to work in a studio environment and experience a new and constantly-shifting performance dynamic.

Similarly, the studio has technical demands that will challenge student musicians to perform in unique situations: Various degrees of isolation, wearing headphones, following a click track or other pre-recorded material, sight reading, and so on.

PROFESSIONAL ENGAGEMENT

Professional engagement is a critical ingredient for the success of this ensemble and those who will play in it. Alumni who currently work in studios across the country and around the world will be invited to share their experiences, industry insider tips and best practices, as well as provide students a glimpse into professional life after graduation.
