Gregory Sioles formerly Associate Professor of Piano at Louisiana State University, has been the recipient of numerous honors and awards, including a Fulbright. He has performed on three continents and extensively throughout the United States as a recitalist and soloist with orchestra. An active chamber musician, Sioles has collaborated with many distinguished artists, including Edgar Meyer, Barry Tuckwell, and the Guarneri Quartet. As part of the Washington D.C. music scene for more than a decade, he performed at many of that city’s important halls, including the Kennedy Center, National Gallery of Art, and the Phillips Collection. Recent international engagements have taken him to Taiwan and Central America. Sioles’ teachers include Gyorgy Sebok, Maria Curcio Diamand, Aube Tzerko, and Victor Aller. He has taught at the University of Maryland, Peabody Conservatory, and, most recently, the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. He records for Centaur.
